Ben Chambers Quilt Project
Grandma Besecker & Miss Besecker
Miss Besecker’s 3rd grade class at Benjamin Chambers
Elementary School has auctioned their third hand-made
quilt, with a fourth now in the works.
Benefiting Charity from the Beginning
Many of the quilts to-date have benefited charitable causes. Miss B’s class works with her grandmother (“Grandma B”) to practice measuring, design, cooperation and geometry skills, during quilt planning and construction.
2019 Benefactor & Mission
Chambersburg-based ReliAvail I.T. Company purchased this year's quilt and is spearheading the 2019 Benefit Chambersburg campaign to promote Downtown Chambersburg; the campaign aims to raise funds and awareness of the community, charitable, and art movements that bring generations together and make a difference for children and families in our area.
We seek to inspire a new generation of community-minded young people who will strive to improve the world around them.
This year's Ben Chambers quilt was auctioned in Spring 2019 to benefit a school family recently affected by a house fire. Proceeds from the quilt auction are helping the family to rebuild.
ReliAvail I.T. Co. is now donating the quilt to the 2019 Benefit Chambersburg campaign, in support of two area charities.
100% of proceeds from your votes will benefit charity, and the charity that raises the most money will also receive the 2019 Ben Chambers quilt.
